Nearly There...

Schooling Scarlett is almost set to release!! I set March as my release date, but it looks like I'm going to be sliding in just in time. I do feel like a bit of explaining is in order.
I love my short novel!! It is coming in right around 20k words, so not very long, but I have to make a little admission here, I also write young adult books. I am crossing genres with this book and because of the content, I don't want any of my teen readers to get their hands on this book until they are eighteen. So this means that I have been writing chapters of Schooling Scarlett as I've been releasing another book under my YA pen name. So, while 20k words doesn't seem like a lot, it is when you are piling it on top of a full-length book for teens. I love that I am able to do this because I have been writing spicy short stories since I had some real-life material to work from.
Remember that while SS is short, it is part of a series. Hopefully, if this story does well in the popularity contests, I'll have more time to spend in this genre, but for now I am just dipping my toes in the water.
